Founded in 2014 and based in Oslo, QB Gallery represents emerging and established artists within Norwegian and Scandinavian contemporary art. Run by Mikaela Bruhn Aschim and Kari Kjøsnes, it works across a broad range of practices and approaches different artistic scenes and backgrounds without hierarchy.

Its curatorial programme and communication emphasise tactility, materiality, presence and awareness, qualities the gallery considers particularly relevant in a rapidly changing digital environment.

Guided by curiosity and a desire to connect different participants in the art world, the gallery combines long-term goals with playful approaches. Its programme brings established art-world practices into dialogue with contemporary ideas.
